ECM To Demo Thrustmaster Simracing Console With Integrated PCB Stator Technology at CES 2025

US electric motor design software firm ECM PCB Stator Tech will exhibit Thrustmaster’s new T598 Axial Drive racing wheel at CES 2025, January 7 – 9.

The T598 steering console integrates ECM’s patented PCB Stator electric motor innovation and was developed through a partnership between ECM and Thrustmaster—a leader in gaming hardware.

Thrustmaster T598 Featuring PCB Stator Motor
  • A direct drive, PCB Stator axial flux motor with unique zero cogging technology
  • 5NM + overshoot for constant torque and boosted effects
  • HARMONY technology that produces high-frequency vibrations that allow gamers to feel rumble strips, tire screeching, and road textures like never before; and
  • Compatibility with the PS5, PS4, and PCs

To create the new T598, Thrustmaster leveraged ECM’s PrintStator CAD platform, which is a 2024 and 2025 CES Innovation Awards honoree. Using PrintStator, ECM and Thrustmaster optimized a custom PCB Stator electric motor for the T598—which contributes to the simracing system’s ultra-realistic driving experience, while reducing its depth. This innovation is detailed in Thrustmaster’s white paper, “Unveilling The New Generation of Direct Drive Wheel Bases.”

CES attendees can take the wheel of the cutting-edge simracing rig at ECM’s booth: LVCC, North Hall – 8453.

The T598 is the first product developed through ECM and Thrustmaster’s continuing collaboration to leverage Printstator SaaS and PCB Stator electric motor technology.
